The Metropolitan Airports Commission plans to Increase the Tax to your Parking
The Metropolitan Airport Plans to Increase the Tax to Your Parking!!
This is not the time to be raising taxes. At EZ Air Park we understand that. We also understand the financial pressures our customers face. Our customers have tightened their belts and so have we. We have held our rates.
Unfortunately, the non-elected politicians on the Metropolitan Airport Commission (MAC), who run the airport, don’t see it the same way. The MAC is proposing 150% increase in the fee all off-airport parking facilities pay. With tight budgets for all operators, this tax increase, if passed on August 16, 2010, could be detrimental to not only us but the general public.
Help us say, “No more!” to unjustified taxes. The best thing you can do to combat this tax increase is to take 1 minute of your time to call or email one of the people below. Call or email the Governor’s office and remind him that he promised no new taxes. Tell him or these legislators that you strongly oppose the increase tax that is being considered on off-airport parking facilities and that you intend to show your dissatisfaction at the voting booth when the time comes. That is how your call and your vote may mean something.
Let your voice be heard! Please contact any or all of the following:
Governor’s office - (800) 657-3717 or tim.pawlenty@state.mn.us
Sen. Kenneth Kalash (651) 297-8061 or sen.kenneth.kelash@senate.mn
Rep. Linda Slocum (651) 296-7158 or rep.linda.slocum@house.mn

EZ Air Park Celebrates 25 Years of Shuttle Service to MSP Airport
In his travels to Boston, he found the perfect example upon which he based EZ Air Park. The lot was designed to be a convenient, friendly, customer service oriented and affordable alternative to parking at the airport.
EZ Air Park began with 500 parking spaces and a great idea. Running continuously, 24/7, EZ Air Park operates multiple buses on their daily runs to the airport.
An active member of the community, EZ Air Park has participated with many local charities and fundraising events over their 25 years of residency in the Eagan community. Dedication to the community and their customers is the personal touch that customers note most often when asked why they continually park at EZ Air Park.
"Our customer focus has been our strong suit," states long-time manager Curt Callister. "We train our drivers and cashiers to greet people, offer to help with their luggage, and wish them a good trip. They are our priority. It shows too. Recently we installed an auto-entry and exit system, but many of our regulars still stop by the cashier's booth to chat and say hello. We even go so far as to send customer's luggage to them if they inadvertently forget it on a shuttle." EZ Air Park also provides emergency car start assistance.
EZ Air Park is one of the only privately, locally-owned offsite airport parking facilities in the Twin Cities Metro. Offering discounts to AAA, MERSC, corporations, senior citizens and military personnel, the drive to offer a convenient parking alternative for business and leisure travelers is a fundamental goal. EZ Air Park also offers a loyalty program which allows frequent travelers the opportunity to earn free parking.
Even during the busiest seasons, travelers can rest assured there will be a parking space waiting for them. In 25 years in business, EZ Air Park has never turned away a customer because the lot is too full.
The simplicity of the parking experience is a benefit customers appreciate. The tagline: Park, Ride, Relax sums up the experience. Close to the airport, convenient, efficient, helpful, friendly and on-time are all phrases EZ Air Park hears from their customers on a regular basis.

FunFest Parade
Several times during the parade route we would lose one of our employees - she was handing out coupons and explaining our services to the crowd, so she would fall behind our shuttle and have to run to catch back up with us! The highlight of the parade was running into a friend and past employee. We got to see his wife and kids and catch up a bit. Hugs and handshakes all around for this unexpected meeting!
This parade was over a mile long and there were many people in attendance. It was a great feeling to connect with our community!
Appreciating small town values, EZ Air Park actively participates in many local and community events. Supporting local hockey and baseball, EZ strives to give back to the community that has been a part of our business for the past 25 years.

Barcelona, A Great Place to Visit
Many of the guide books didn't recommend the Miro museum, but we went anyway. We found this to be one of our favorites. It is located in a beautiful park, so prior to the museum we took a nice stroll around the park and happened on a cute restaurant to relax and have a cool drink on their patio. It was a nice combination of art and outdoor park.
I highly recommend a visit to Barcelona. It is one of the most beautiful, exciting, and easy to navigate cities we have been visited.
The next time you're traveling overseas and fly from the MSP airport, remember to park with EZ Air Park. We save you time and make airport parking fast and efficient. Park, Ride and Relax with EZ Air Park. Now offering outdoor storage for RVs, boats, trailers and more.

Travel Ideas
CASA CHAMELEON
Voted one of the "101 Best Hotels in the World" by Conde Nast Publications' TATLER Travel guide.
My husband and I recently stayed at Casa Chameleon. We have traveled all over the world and this is one of the best places we have stayed. I was told the owners are relatively new and that the property had recently been remodeled and extensive landscaping done. They must have put their heart and soul into it because no stone was left unturned, no detail missed. The atmosphere is so relaxing, beautiful, peaceful, and romantic. There are not enough positive adjectives in the English language to describe Casa Chameleon and its staff.
We were greeted at the gate by the manager with cool damp towels and a friendly warm smile. It was so refreshing! I knew we were in for a treat. Yua (manager) was there for our every need. He helped to arrange surf lessons, fishing, canopy tour and horseback riding for us. The morning we left it was pouring rain (highly unusual). He knew we were leaving about 7am. At 6:55 Yua knocked on the door with 2 large umbrellas for us.
Rob, Casa Chameleon's private chef, created some of the most culinary pleasing meals I have ever had. He made everything according to our tastes and needs and it was never a problem. He was always happy and ready to please. He would go to the farmers market and pick up fresh ingredients for every meal.
The villa was breathtaking with views overlooking the ocean where we could sit on the veranda in the comfortable chairs and read or recline in the hammock for a nap, or if we got to warm step into our own private, refreshing plunge pool. The most difficult question we faced was whether or not to sit and enjoy the tranquility of our private villa, or go relax at the main pool which was just as stunning and relaxing.
We loved the little town of Santa Theresa and were surprised how many good restaurants there were for the town’s size.
Santa Theresa is a very health conscience as a community. Most of the restaurants used organic ingredients. It is a very fun, laid back surfer town.
The beaches are large and beautiful (Victoria Secret was shooting their catalog there the next week) and very quiet. The surf was great for boogie-boarding and I even tried surfing.
If you are looking for wild crowded beaches and shopping for the latest fashions go to Daytona Beach or South Beach in March because this isn't it.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, romance, tranquility, heaven on earth you have found it at Casa Chameleon. We can't wait to go back. We have talked about bringing two other couples back with us and renting the whole hotel.

Back by Popular Demand, Outdoor Storage at EZ Air Park
For man local residents, parking a boat, trailer or RV/camper in their driveway is not compliant with city and neighborhood ordinances. For residents facing parking restrictions, EZ Air Park's outdoor storage is an alternative.
Our lot offers 24-hour access, a secure lot that is staffed 24 hours per day and is conveniently located off 35E and 494.
This has been a very popular service in past years. Spots do fill quickly, so reserve your space early.
EZ Air Park is located at 2804 Lexington Ave in Eagan, 651-777-7275. An off-site airport parking facility, EZ Air Park is currently celebrating 25 years in business.

Make your next trip through airport security hassle-free.
- Have your passport or photo ID and boarding pass out and ready for inspection. If you are traveling with others everyone should carry their own.
- Wear slip on shoes both male and female, shoes should be placed directly on the conveyor belt, not in a tray.
- Don’t wear a belt or excess jewelry, put it in your carry-on or checked bag before getting in line.
- Have your 3oz liquids in TSA approved bag out and ready for the inspection tray.
- Remove laptop from case so it is ready to place in its own security tray. Do not put case on top or under laptop.
- Have out and ready to place in its own security tray: Kindle, video games, cell phone any personal electronics.
- Pants or skirt should have a pocket for easy access to ID/passport while going through security or use a document holder that hangs around your neck.
- Place change, watches and other metal items into carry-on luggage before getting in line.
- After passing through the metal detector don’t stand right there and put your shoes back on or pack up laptop or any other items, move out of the way. Grab all of your items and remove them from the plastic tubs, carry them over to some place off to the side (most airports have some tables and chairs set up for you to "regroup" once you pass through security), and then get yourself together. This allows other to get by and keeps the line moving.
